Default 1997 Civic bumper replacement

I cracked my 1997 honda civic EX coupe's bumper cover(I believe its just the cover, as it is nothing major) a while ago and have been looking into replacing it. I want to do it myself to save money. Is this what I need to replace it with? My car is black. I can take pics tomorrow if need be.

Yeah that works, you might want to check out certifit.com also, they have some very cheap parts and you can usually drive to a location

Now in that picture it looks black, but I've also seen shots where the bumper looks like it is a bluish-white color like it has a primer coat on it. Does anyone know if this will come painted in the black that will match my car?

You'll have to have it painted. I'm on replacement bumper #2 with my car. Bought the car with a cracked bumper 3 years ago and 2 years ago I replaced the original broken one with a certifit. It lasted about a year and a half til I was driving in the snow in December and skidded into a guard rail. So Now I have another bumper waiting in my basement for winter to be over.

When you have it painted you'll want to color match your paint with your Vin number (There were different types of black metallics manufactured at different plants so the color of the metallic varies, which is why you'll need your VIN number to color match your paint).
