i recently a bought a 1990 honda civic lx 4dr and have been looking a few websites that contain oem parts "ie..power window motors,carpet,seats front and rear"ans some that contain aftermarket parts"ie..body kits, front and rear lights,wood grain dash kits" i want to completely redo this bone stock honda... any help would be much appreciated

 

Whats your goal? Do you just want a show car, a go car, or a show and go car?

 

pretty much my goal is to have a tricked out street car daily driver with a bit of a kick....another mod is going to be an engine swap to a b18c i believe it is...but that wont be for a while

 

You could upgrade the suspension, get it lowered with coilovers on it. Depending on your area and if you get frost heaves in the winter or any kind of clearance issues with hills, etc. Than you might want to consider what a good ride height would be. Adjustable coilovers are expensive but allow you to adjust the ride height. Adding a front strut bar and rear bar would help for handling around corners, suppressing body roll.

Ummm get some nice rims I would recommend not going over 16" cause you might get clearance issues in your wheel wells, and that will effect the performance of your ride with the extra weight. You can get low profile tires if you decide to get big rims, but those are expensive and wear fast. IMO get some light rims that are 15" if you got the money.

And the style now is keeping rides clean, with no crazy bodykits or spoilers and decals/graphics, but if your into that stuff than thats cool.

Some foglights, good quality ones not cheap walmart stuff....

And tint or black out your tailights and headlights, some options just throwing stuff out there

 

yea im a real gear head in that department ...... do you know of any websites that have body kits for my model i seem to only find HB body kits

 

summitracing or procivic are a few, I would just run a few searches there are a bunch of sites rangeing in cost, quality, and styles.

do you know if a HB front bumper would fit a sedan because there are alot more HB front bumpers than 4dr also the fenders too im not sure why there would be a diff they seem like the same car
