Default 38m holesaw vs. 40mm holesaw for EK fogs ?

The instructions for the set of jdm ek fogs that I got require a 40 mm holesaw for the 7 holes i need to make for each side. But I went to lowes and they only have a 38mm or 42 mm holesaw for drill attachments and don't carry 40mm. I took the 38mm but haven't started yet. Would 38 mm work out or would I have to do some sanding around the edges to make the hole cuts bigger ? [sm=feedback.gif] Thanks !

just try it,it cant mess up anything..to small it better then to big in this situation, just drill them and see if it fits, if not..do some sanding
