I have a 97 Civic LX and it has the 3rd brake light in the back window. I hate having it there but I'm not sure what my options are for moving it. Anybody have any ideas?

 

What state do you live in? I'm in California and i know here about the only thing you can do is relocate it to another spot in the back windshield. Removing it will get you pulled over and cited. I have had this problem before. I guess they say when a car is equipped with a third brake light from the factory that it must retain said light. So again it could be relocated but not removed.

I live in Nebraska and I believe we have to keep the 3rd brake light, I just hate having it in that spot. I think that when I take it out to have the windows tinted, then it won't be such a big deal, but damn its ugly right now lol
