Default 95 Civic Lights question

Hi all,

So i have a 95 civic and wanted to replace the stock lights for something brighter. Do you know if getting the xenon bulbs off of ebay will be any good. Or should I just invest in some projector head light system or what. I'm completly new to the lights thing so go easy on me. Also I would like to replace the stock speakers with something a little bigger. Any suggestions, also new to speakers and don't know what wattage the stock ones are or what substitue I should get. Thanks in advance.

it all depends on how much you want to spend. the 95 civics run h4 9003 lights. you can get xenon or halogen bulbs if you want there not that expensive off of ebay. The speaker question. You have 6 1/2" i believe all around. the wattage is like 25-45 watts. you could get some pioneers those are cheap or you could go with infinity's. i have those in the front of my car. polkrockford fosgate. those are what i would say. There may be a few more i didn't put in there. If you have any questions just pm me.

so i'm looking on ebay now at h.i.d kits..........would I get the same effect if I just got halogen bulbs instead of buying the h.i.d. kit? i noticed the hid kit comes with halogen bulbs but the only difference is that they come with a circuit relay. does the circuit relay provide more power to the bulbs than the stock ones?

99% of the "H.I.D"s that you see on eBay are fake. the real HId kits are like $200-$300 for just lowbeams, then if you want hi/low beam then they run between $300-$500 for a good set. but if your just wanting to replace the bulb, then go to an automotive store(advance auto, or pepboys, or if you canadian like me then Canadian Tire) and get a set of Sylvania Silverstars, they will set you back about $50 for the 2 bulbs, but they are better then stock bulbs.... personally i would save up for the hi/low hid kit... wait that is what i am doing
