Default 95 Climate Control

Hi, I own a 95 Civic EX and been trying to get the climate control out of the dash so I can replace the bulbs which are out, been trying several times and havent figure out how the get the darn thing out, I removed the ashtray/lighter console, the radio and have removed the 4 screwas that Haynes manual indicates without luck, and I just dont want to yank it out because dont wanna break anything since the winter is coming and winters in RI are brutal, has any of you any idea or trick to get it out the right way, thanks....

you have to remove just about the entire dash to get to it. the dash/trim piece that goes around the steering wheel and has the dimmer switch on it on the left side, has to come out. The screws are inside the dash, so you have to get to it from behind. in my opinion it/s really not worth it to go through all that trouble just to replace a couple of bulbs. Try going to a dealer and asking what it would cost to replace, or how to replace those bulbs. I thought I had the same problem, but I just pounded on the dash a few times and it was probably a bad or loose connection. I noticed it would flicker form time to time. Unless you are good with interior pieces, and figuring out the trick to them, it's really not worth it, you've got to take apart the entire dash. Good luck Though!
