i've done tons of research but cant seem to find ANYTHING...heres what i would like to kno: do 99-00 SI tails fit in 96-98 cars. Also, i kno in 99 they changed the headlights, and so forht the accomadtions of changed bumper, hood, and fenders came...but i do not want to do that whole front upgrade bc i have a carbon fiber hood i like alot, but i would really like to get a bumper for a 96-98 with the air dams or fog lights slots in it like the 99-00...who do i go about doing that..i am asking this because i saw teh Ride of the month, he had a 1996 civic ex, and so do i, but his bumper has that, but i cant find a 96-98 bumper like that, and on his list of mods it doesnt say anything about 99-00 front fascia upgrade...if someone could offer some insight id much appreciate it,.

 

the main differences between 96-98 and 99-00 are the dashboard, and front end (fenders, hood, headlights, bumper), and yes, the 99-00 taillights will fit 96-98 civics, as for the ride of the month, that is the 99-00 front fascia

 

k i figured it was bc i had never seen that kind of bumper on a 96...o well sux for me..i really want that bumper...thnx for the help

 

You can swap front ends from a 99-00 to a 96-98 you just need the bumper, headlights, hood, fenders...

The tail lights are a direct swap.
