Default 97 civic body help

I have a 97 civic ex. However it was in an accident before I bought it. The guy re-built it with alot of 2000 civic parts. I'm not exactly sure what's on there, but bumpers and fenders and headlamps for sure. Are 97 and 00 fenders interchangeable, or is there more body work than just that. The reason I'm wondering is because I just picked up a new 97 bumper and some 97 halo lights, and they don't fit. Thanks.

^ no if the guy used parts from an 00 the parst are just slightly different... consider yourself lucky though, cause alot of people want a 99-00 front on their 96-98's. i would just contact the person/compony that you bought the parts from and exchange them for 99-00 parts

^ buddy you may want to get reading glasses... it is dongaface...

And no with the 97 fenders they won't fit right with the 99-00 headlights. The fenders, hood, bumper and headlights are different on them.

You COULD us the headlights and fenders, but you would need to get a hood and bumper too. which would be more expensiv then getting the headlights and fenders exchanged for the right ones.. cause you would have to get everything repainted.

^^he's got it right. On the 96-98, the front is slightly different. Return your lights and get ones for a 99-00 cuz converting the front end back to 96-98 would be lots of cash since you'd need fenders, hood, and bumper, which =$
