hood was 450, front end that was origionally suppose to include the hood (if you want to know read my last post in the HCF project section under my project civic GSR thread) the front end cost me 350 and 50 for the fogs so 850 when all said and done. And yeah I will do a DIY when I get the chance, could be abit like i said I didnt get the chance to do the change til after I got off work one night

 

Whered you get the front end from? Im doin body work this summer and want the front end conversion

 

Looks really good but imo 99/00 front end conversions are getting played out. It seems like everyone is doing them now. Im def sticking with my 98

 

main thing i hate about the 96-98s is the headlights. IMO.... plus thier OEM foglights are ugly IMO.
i think the 99-00s are just smoother flowing....

 

Ill give you that the 96-98 headlights are ugly but i like the bulge they have....gives em charecter lol. And im not a fan of the fog lights people use for 99/00 bumpers...idk i guess im just weird.

 

If you take the housing apart (by doing the whole oven thing) and clean them up really well, then remove those ugly orange lenses, then replace the clear bulbs with amber ones, the 96-98 ones don't look so bad.

 

ijust ordered 96-98 oem ones. Im excited for them to get here

 

well either way played out or not I like the 99/00 fronts better, and I have to much work to go get another civic for that so the conversion was the only option. Like I have said before if something goes wrong with this car I am going to go finance a 350z

 

well remember you can always sell your old stock parts for retreave some of your upgrade expenses

 

haha i already sold my stock parts, actually my other front end was sold before I had it off.
