hi, I'm new to the forum and have had a good read over it. I'm getting a '00 civic ex and don't like the stock dash colors. so.. I could get the ever present white faced gauges (which I like the glowing #'s but not the white face) or change the color of the bulbs behind the dash (which is a pain). now.. I really want to know if I could have the best of both worlds and find a company that sell a black face gauge with illuminous numbers (blue or red)? any suggestions?

 

damn, im like a walking billboard for ebay right now. i got these for my wifes corolla. they are called reverse indiglo gauges, and you can find them on ebay for around 20-40 bucks shipped.

 

also, if you get these, you DO NOT have to take off the needles, you slide them over the needles. if you try to take them off, them youll break them, then youll have to buy a new cluster too. its easy, just dont try to take off the needles.

 

the reverse ones have white faces though, I would like a black face but with the numbers glowing.

 

no, the regular indiglo ones are white, these are black background and there is a switch to change between blue and green numbers.

the SI cluster is also a good Idea. amber would look nice.

I also have a 00 EX and people tell me they like how my gauges light up clear, but I don't know, Id like it better if they were red. Let us know if the ebay stuff works out.
