Default Advice for bumper conversion for 98 EX

So I have a 98' EX coupe and I was thinking about doing a bumper conversion simply from the stock 98 bumper cover to a stock 99/00 bumper cover. How easy Is this? Is it simply on bolt the old one and bolt on the new one? Or is there actual modificatons I have to do to the front end to get the right "fit" I want it to be a nice and tight and look as if it came off the lot like that. So any one that has done this before or seen it done please give me some advice is it a project that will take a while or is it bolt off and bolt back on?

It might be easier if you get a body kit bumper that looks OEM and 99/00. That way it would be made just for your car.

This question gets asked a lot. If you want to convert a 96-98 to 99-00, and you want it to fit right, you need to change out the bumper, headlights, grille, fenders, and hood. It looks like a fairly simple conversion but you do need a lot of parts and it probably won't be worth it unless you have a donor car sitting around.

Another alternative might be to just get a nice front lip kit.

Damn sounds a like it takes a hell of alot more then im up for. Is there any body clips for the front that look like really close to a stock 99/00? Yeah I like the lip kit idea but I live in a hicktown where everyone but me and a few others have lowered cars. And lets just say for speedbumps you would think the construction company is trying to replicate Mt. Everest you know what im saying? So the lip kit here would be a bad idea. So any suggestions for a front body kit that looks like a 99/00 front end?

^^^^Sounds like my town. Don't take my word on this, but I think the c-west kit is like the 99/00.
