Default After Market Steering Wheel for AUTO

Anyone know of anything after market wheels with cruise buttons? I figure for the price a OEM wheel is going to cost, i might shoot for something nicer...worse comes to worse...I don't really need CC, i never use it anyways.

Personally, I've never seen any with CC... is it going to be for a daily driver? If so, I don't think getting a wheel without airbags is a good thing... maybe look into like an s2000 steering wheel?

ya an S2K wheel would be real nice and still functional in saving ur life. i believe a steering wheel with no air bag on a car year 1995+ is illegal. u might be able to re-wire the cruise control buttons to somewhere else but as far as having them on an aftermarket wheel, i've never seen one.

in some states, yes. But if you're driving it everyday..its also not smart.

I'm just a little scarred to hook one up to this car. who knows who the wut the **** happened to it, and well...the bumper foam was removed i guess when they put the body kit on, and who knows where the sensors are? i'm afraid it could just pop off at anyminute.

i swear from those pics it looks like the bag has already been blown.lol

BUT if your looken for a dash localy to swap out the parts... WAIT and then write down the interior color code off the car THEN you can lookout on ebay and find a used steering wheel and bag... ive seen them around 100bucks....

BUT if you do chose to go aftermarket you can still keep yoru CC youll have to have relocate them and wire em up.... shouldnt be to hard.... just extend the wires to around the center console and fab something up...

YEs, some ricecake actually painted the interior. ALL of it. It's a challenge, and a chore. No civic should end up going to a junk yard in this condidtion. I would like to breathe a little life back into her before she goes. I tooksome paint stripper to parts last night and YES, it will work. Going to take dsome scrubbing. Stiff not sure if I want to just replace the dash or go crazy on paint stripping. Maybe I can invite the girls over for some paint strip stripping festivities...I'll youtube it.

All in ALL, yes...its crap, and soon it won't be. SURE i could go buy something used thats not as beat....but hey, what fun would that be....this is my project.
