I'm putting a custom steering wheel in so i dont need my airbag anymore
I heard they sell for a pretty penny. Anyone got anyh input????

 

Yeah.... keep your airbag and sell your new steering wheel.

depends my year 99 doesn't go for that much anymore...air bags on ebay ruined what there worth

 

umm no i wear my seat belt when ever I'm in a car.

 

I'd love to rip mine off but Im abit worried the cops will fine me. this isn't safe!! blah blah... u kno how it goes... then theres geting the ring upholstered. or trying to find someone who makes styling rings. anyone want to add?

 

they're there for a reason.... unless its a dedicated race car... leave it there

 

I don't know what your laws are like in Australia, so I don't know what to tell you.

You could find a shop to re-cover the wheel in leather.

 

is thier anyplaces that fix air bags?
mines realy not broken BUT the apolstry or leather or what ever is starting to split on the side where the bag blows the spots

i just put a decent steering wheel cover on mine for alittle beter look.

just a cheap one from walmart. but it looks beter and alittle more comforatable...
