So what's the consensus about aftermarket headlights?

To recap what I've read: The LEDs in the halos burn out, you have to silicon seal the seams yourself, etc, etc. But you allstill seem to recommend buying them?

I have an '02 Civic Si Hatch and I like the Kayee over the Anzo for my particular application. Are there any brands that are actually as good as stock reliability wise, but with the extra style? I really don't want to have to crack open the headlights to re-wire the halos!

I actually hit a wild turkey a couple of weeks ago and need to order new lights NOW, any rapidfeedback would be GREATLY appriciated since I don't want to sink nearly $200 into headlights that are going to end up sucking or being a huge investment in time to keep looking good. Also are these kind ofhousings UV protected? If not, can I just have a painter spray a couple of coats of UV protectant clear coat on them?

I read this whole thread and several others looking for info before posting, but this is co-incidentally my first post on this forum, I am waiting to do my introduction & post picsuntil I get the headlights/hood repaired (prob gonna buy seibon OEM style carbon hood). But I will also post pics of the damage once I can say its fixed (I also have pics of turkey parts IN the headlight housing immidiately after the accident! [:-])

Any help/advice/recommendations would be greatly appriciated!
