Default Anyway to PREVENT headlight yellowing/fogging?

i found a set of brand new headlights for cheap locally, and picked them up since my headlights are foggy and yellow. is there anyway to prevent the fog and crap from coming back?

the moisture youre experiencing is due to bad seals. Take a bead of silicone around the edge where both parts come together and that should help with the moisture. The yellowing and haziness is kind of difficult to keep away. You can try a bit of rubbing compound to get rid of it.

Meguires sells a really nice plastic polish called Plasti-X. Put some on now to protect the lenses and just do it every now and then. If it comes back or starts to haze up on you. get a buffer of some kind and use that polish and buff it, it'll come right out. It's magic stuff it'll prolly clean up your old headlights no problem if you use the buffer.

plast-x is magic stuff there is also a 3M lens cleaning kit that is pretty solid uses an attatchment for your drill and different grits of sand paper and polish and whatnot
