So I finally got everything together to recover my armrest with vinyl. LOL my first try was pretty bad. Since the cloth that come on it is streched its pretty hard to cut it out so it will fit perfect. But I have enough vinyl to do it like 4 more times so I will keep trying.

My problem was that it just wrinkles everywhere. I cannot get it smooth for the life of me. When it starts going over the bumps and curves and what not. It look less bad when its in the door but there is still tons of wrinkles.

I will try to post some pics next time I try.

edit: DAMN this is hard. I was trying to use the DIY I found in another thread about doing this but he had different inserts then me. The 00 Hatch inserts are a pain in the ***. Does anyone know if normal reupholsery shops can do this kind of stuff? As it is now it looks like I am going to end up with a whole bunch of wrinkles on my insert.
