yezzir... thats why ive been searching around and asking for help on stuff.. cuz im trying to do it right and make it look good/

should i use degreaser or seafoam first?

Yeah, she needs to be cleaned. Just get some brillo pads for the tarnished parts.

degreaser or seafoam first. . and am i able to take off the header sheild thing without anything going wrong.. like for looks.. or is it important enough to keep it there

i got a power washer 2500 PSI thats good right?

if anything, paint the heat shield black, or refinish it. paint your valve cover with some simple color. reroute the vacuum hose to your valvecover/intake. it should be connected directly to your valve cover, at least if you want it to look cleaner.

so take out that metal piece that has the blue hose connected to it and connect the blue directly to where the metal is....sorry if im asking dumb sh** i just hate car trouble.. i know im a n00b

NO!!!

Just use some degreaser and a spray bottle of water. You dont want to get water on the electronic parts under your hood.
