Yeah, take the blue thing and connect it to the valve cover. I don't think it really matters what order you clean it in. Personally, I'd seafoam first. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2164596/5that link might help you a little with cleaning out the bay. Also, the thing you were talking about on the header (the heat shield)... it does serve a purpose. It keeps most of the radiant heat from escaping. You don't need it (aftermarket headers never have them), but I'd recommend you keep it. Just take it off and paint it or something. Just please keep away from the bright colors

I'm just wrapping my header (with black wrap, of course)... it's easier and I like how wrapped headers look. Well, that, and with sealant, I won't have to worry about rust and all that good junk.

Just paint it. It makes it really easy to keep clean. See?

heh i like the matching dipstick.. i really dont like the all blue heat sheild i would add a lil more color like a black accent or something..but still looks nice.. i like the cover though

^ I am gonna be doing it all black and white this summer. Its bee too damn cold to paint without my paint booth set up.

um, i highly doubt i'm going to be painting it neon blue anytime soon, if i'm bored one day, i might make a stainless or aluminum one one day if i have some scraps laying around the house

Its not neon. Its more of a dark baby blue. And I wasn't saying for you to paint it the same color, but I have a feeling you knew that. LOL You know you could always just polish your factory one. I did that to my old accord.

yeaforget neon blue, gabber green is the way to go. (lol I'm going black also, justwant to find a cover that says vtec on it first.)
