Holy hell. I no longer own the dirtiest engine bay in the land. Do you live on a gravel road?

Seriously though, nice ride.

What changes are we talking about?

Yeah well this is actually a pretty dirty town now that I think of it. I can't think of any route to or from anywhere that I would drive if I wanted to keep my car clean. I guess that's partly the reason I haven't seriously considered buying anything new.

Anyway, as far as changes, got some appointments next week...

-monday - full interior/exterior (including engine bay) detailing job. Asked around, and went with a place that charges a little more, but has a reputation for a lot of attention to detail and quality and takes their time.

-wednesday - tints all around, max legal at a local place with a good rep. Price they quoted me was lower than I expected, too, but I guess I don't really have any frame of reference.

got some goodies coming, too...

-new headlights assemblies w/ clear corners (old ones are yellowing and i accidentally broke one of the bulb retainers... enough excuse for me!)

-5300k HIDs courtesy of polo's group buy thread

-AEM SRI... yeah yeah I know CAI blah blah but the thing is, there really ARE places around here that you could submerge the front end when it rains hard enough, and I'd just rather not take my chances, however small they may be.

some cheapish ebay strut/tie bars might be in the near future too, but i'm not sure yet. Maybe you guys could help me out with that - https://www.hondacivicforum.com/m_99..._/tm.htm#99018

I'm also still having a hard time deciding about wheels/tires. I JUST got a full set of new 14" tires, and the roads around here are so incredibly lousy anyway that I really don't know that I'd want to go with larger wheels. What I'd REALLY like are some HX wheels, but I haven't seen any on ebay lately

Anyway... yeah. Thanks for the input. Sorry about the filthy engine bay horror show pics

You know, I noticed that. Is that a Corona bottle? It made me wonder what everybody has hanging from their rearviews. I almost made a "post your rearview crap" post, but I guess you have to start it now. I can't stand having crap hanging form mine.
