Default Black Tail/headlights

I got the clear/chrome tail lights but think I want to go for the darker look with the black tail lights and headlights (not black covers but black housing like this http://a763.g.akamai.net/7/763/1644/...p/VPID/4790653). It's hard to tell without actually seeing them on first. If anybody has them on a light car, like silver, I'd like to see pics. Thanks.

Yupp those are altezza's.
If your digging them I would suggest going to the chop shop in our forum and have someone photoshop them.
But if you want my opinion do the VHT spray tint like me.(this way it's much cheaper and you can use your stock tails)

And for the headlight i have seen the oem looking lights with the black housing and they are pretty cool.
Good luck.

Quick question Civic_Kid98. did you just paint the outside of your lenses or did you take the lights apart and spray the inside? I'm wondering cuz I want to spray tint the tail lights on my hatch and i'm not sure how to go about it. thanks for your help.

I took them out and sprayed them so i didnt get any overspray and i wanted to get all the way around them. (Only sprayed the outside) Then after a week or so of having them on i decided to have them clear coated now they are killer! Anytime man.

Check out my pictures, I have those exact same Altezza's. I think my car pulls them off decently, being all black and all.

Doesn't look too ricey, imo.

is that spray over the stock tail lights too dark? Like when you hit the brakes it looks like the lights would barely show lol.

Yeah, I think it would look good on the silver, I've been trying to photoshop the tail lights with the black housing inside and can't seem to get it right. I could spraypaint but I get worried about all the California laws we have here so I'm trying to NOT get tickets as well. Whatever I decide on, I'll post pics so's others can use to help them. Thanks guys.

This guys did the spraypaint with his tail lights and it's the same year and color as my civic.

So I should definatly clear coat em'? did you just use a "cut in" clear coat like in a rattle can or something?

I didn't clear coat mine, and they've been fine for about 8 months. But if you were to clear coat I would use just a rattle can clear coat. I've used it on other stuff and it works great.
