like the first reply to the post...i have a black civic with black halos with graphite (almost black) rims with a polished lip
its pretty sweet trust me the black halo's are the best way to go it add's an awesome effect.

I've got white rims already so the chrome/clear might match a little better, but i'm lookin at MichiganRice22's dark purple Civic with them black projectors and i like what i see.

hey RSX... do know if those guys have anything for an 04 Civic? Those looked waay good on that RSX. I got mine off ebay for just like 150 bucks and the halos actually arent that bad... it is just the PIAAs i had that blew out... the HIDs have the ballasts that control the power anyways so I havent had anything wrong with blowouts at all... they've lasted longer than my PIAAs ever did

Don't buy those, the lighting is very poor and the halos will burn out prematurely. The projectors are poor quality, and are severly limited in terms of output. The halos are run by LEDs, which are not good with heat number one, but the morons who designed them built them to run off 12v. Cars typically run at 13.8 on the alternator, so it is only a matter of time before those LEDs fry.

What do you mean by have anything for the 04 civic? I not 100% on what you are looking for.

Well, it is just a suggestion, he can really do whatever he wants. But $120 for a pair of lights that is not good quality and worse output than the stock headlamps? You get what you pay for. I bet those headlamps don't even meet FMVSS 108 photometry requirements, meaning they are not legal to use on the road. Here is something to think about, there is a reason why OEM lamps cost what they do, there is actual research-development-testing-etc. involved. Anyone can put up some cash and have lamps manufactured in China, Malaysia, or India, that doesn't mean they know what they are doing when they design them. It took a genuis to design a halo to run on LEDs at 12v when cars run at 13.8v <--- not a whole lot of thought put into that.

So instead of spending ~$120 bucks...he should spend at a minumum $800.00 for yours, plus another 150 if he wants angels...Maybe thats why we don't have the almighty true projectors...cause 950.00 buys a whole lot of engine.

I hate to keep bringing up mill$civic, but he bought these same headlights I'm talking about and you can see the pictures and ask him about the quality of them. You have a good point though Pete, mill$civic said he sealed them up better with silicone to protect against fogging and moisture which is probably a good idea considering they did come from Ebay, so you do bring up a good point. I also agree with RSX when he said you get what you pay for. Yeah, they probably will go bad in a year or two, but thats the price you pay for goin cheap, and i'm willing to pay it. And as far as $950.....well i'm 17 workin' a part time after school job. I don't mean to sound rude to anyone so sorry if i do, i appreciate the feedback from everyone
