Im looking into getting a full body kit and just was wondering what problems people run into. Im not going to lower it im just getting the kit. How much lower would you say the car would be?

Lots of people have fitment issues with body kits. Your car wont be any lower, you'll just have peices of plastic that are closer to the ground lol. Personally I dont think it has a chance of looking good with out a drop. But good luck with whatever you do.

My car has rims that already fill out the wheel well and i dont want to lower it because i dont want rubbing so lowering is out of the picture for now. I do plan on lowering later on tho. I just want to know how much clearance you think i would have with the ground. How much more than stock?

I have a full kit and my car is dropped, my biggest problem is I am often having to bondo the bracket back on my rear bumper.

Depends on the kit. Some kits are 2 inches lower than stock. Others (especially lip kits) don't add so much to the bottom. As far as fit, the reason alot of people have fitment issues is because of company that made the kit. Generally speaking, the better known name brand companies have much better fitment. Kits made in China, generally are not going to fit.

You can even check some of the websites. Some of them say it right there in the FAQ - "We do NOT guarantee fitnent!" [:@]

The ones you can trust will have no problem offering a gurantee for fitment. Keep that in mind too.

here are issues that i have with the body kit on my accord, mind you, this is my first experience w/ body kits and to be honest, i prefer lips. constant bottoming out if your car is dropped too low, even if it isn't driveways and ramps and pot holes are your woest enemies. odds are your kit will add an inch to your front and rear end(or more) and unless you're used to it, parking into spaces will be hell if u suck at judging distances. think about a urethane kit, i have fiberglass, and so far in the last week i've scraped paint, cracked my sideskirt, and cracked the bumper in three different places. and get a good body shop to install and paint, u don't want it to look cheap, and u may run into people who'll clown on u for having one, but these are the same guys who thought 5 foot aluminum wings made your car go faster when they first came out, so u can thro out any hater's criticism out the window if its not constructive.

I just got this front kit cause my bumper ripped off when I was trying to rack my car.

It cost me $150.00 (front) and I was quoted for $400 and $275 to have it put on correctly. Be prepared to spend a pretty penny on trying to get it put on. Make sure you get it at a body shop that guarentee's their work. Be picky and ask a lot of questions they want you just as much as you want them. As for style I tried to keep it stock looking with just a little hmp to attract attention. I didn't want a full ricer look. I personally only like front kits, I've seen many skirts and rears and cannot find anything that keeps a clean look, thats just how I feel about it. I say you go for a drop and then get a lip or just a front kit put on.

front kits look weird, b/c hondas already have a really high *** compared to the front and sides... i think it looks dumb like that... if yer gonna get a kit, get the whole thing, whether its a lip or a body kit... mpo
