I am getting everything (front, rear, sides) in november but im not gonna lower it cuz i really dont wanna end up ripping it off and the rims fill out the wheel wells already. Ive had paint quoted from $200-$500 does that sound about right?

 

If you do get a body kit don't get fiberglass they are way to flimsy. I was driving today and nimped a curb and my whole bumper came off. They also get holes in them easily.

Body kits are just for some ppl..I like them..but if i was you i wouldnt get fiberglass either...I dont have anything against my fiberglass kit it has been great for me...I guess i just know how to be care with it...I dont have many scrapes on it..but yeh get like ABS plastic

 

ABS plastic IMO is garbage. sorry. =/ It's even cheaper to make than fiberglass. it's fine for lips and such, but I would never want an ABS full bumper. hehe.

I would research the COMPANY you are buying the parts from, rather than solely on the material they use. Each type of material has it's benefits. Some companies EXCEL in FRP manufacturing. Some companies make VERY low quality urethane components. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop lumping all materials with negative/positive charactaristics... because it's NOT TRUE.

I am helping someone make a 30+ page brochure that explains IN DETAIL all the different manufacturing techniques, and the positives/negatives of each technique/material. The purpose of the brochure is to educate buyers, so they know the proper questions to ask about product they may be interested in. The brochure will be FREE. Why? We are sick and tired of all these blanket statements that stereotype each material. We want people to know the differences, so they can make good choices, and KNOW what they are getting before they buy it.

Sorry I am not trying to blabber, but it's time to educate people so they stop getting screwed over by marketing.

 

I just got mine on recently and I have nothing bad to say about it besides it scraps going up my driveway rear side first. Other then that all has been well. Make sure you get some type of support for your front and rear when they put it on, be sure that they fabricate some brackets to keep the bumper from completely falling off when you nip a curb or take a dip to fast or whatever. Also please don't take it to some STEREOshop get it done at a body shop. They have experience with products like yours, making fitment as best as possible with the way the material was built.

BTW 1c1v1c1 I love your front kit's fitment I can't wait to get my gaps filled with Fiberglass and then painted
