Default Body Kits

Hey, Im looking to get a new body kit for my car, where does everyone suggest going? Best prices most knowledgable company etc...theres not much in car accessories in my area so it would need to be via the internet. Also the person who had the car b4 me put on a body kit and the front bumper doesn't match up really at all, a buddy of mine told me that there is a minor diff. between the96-98 yearsand99-00yearsand I have a 1999, is this true? Thanks

yeah, the front ends for 96-98 and 99-00 are different, so you'll need a 99-00 body kit. There's a ton of places to look for a kit, and they pretty much all sell cheap, ill-fitting kits. If you have the money ($700+), spring for a polyurethane body kit. Polyurethane is virtually indestructible and it's almost perfect fitment every time. Fiberglass on the other hand is easy to damage and the fitment leaves something to be desired 99% of the time (I got lucky with my old fiberglass kit).

I got my kit from AeroTrends for $485 shipped to PA, and it was a pretty good kit, but I'm pretty sure I was just lucky with the fitment.

Do you have a company that you suggest for the polyurethane kits?

Not really... like I said, I had a fiberglass kit back in the day... urethane kits are kind of rare.

Kaminari's 99/00 kit has a poly front and rear bumper...

also, AIT Racing makes FRP (fiberglass-reinforced plastic) kits, which would probably hold up better than traditional fiberglass, but not as well as urethane.
