actuall i was talking to the people from seibon about some designs like they dont make them for civics but we were talking about making a prototype hood

 

like the ek headlights are flush with it so you have to re design the curves and thickneww of the hood but since it will be cf it will still be light weight

 

I like the UK look of the bad boy style hood (as shown on the vw) but the look is better suited on square/flat nose's cars...

I'd sooner get a cf hood and then cf eye lids, unless you're lending your car to them for prototyping and getting the hood for free I have a feeling it'll be more expensive than a regular cf hood and cf eye lids...

 

I don't think he's saying he's going to put it on his Civic, he's just asking what we think about the VW hood.

Personally, it just looks like a hood to me.

 

Keep in mind that a hood like that is going to change the body lines of the car. Boser hoods work on VW's because most of them have perfectly flat hoods/grille/front bumpers. Since your hood has the lines that come up around the grille, they will just "end" at the new hood, which will look a little goofy.

 

Yeah, looking at it... I'm not sure how this could be made to look good on an EK. It just doesnt seem like it would flow well...I'd definately wanna get it up in photoshop first to see the potential.
