Default budget wheels

do you think it is possible to get new wheels with a 1grand and lower budget? i was thinking of black wheels with a metallic lip, but please feel free to throw your opinions in, i haven't yet decided.

any good websites to check out? any recommendations on saving up and waiting to get quality wheels?

thanks guys

yeah, discount tire is the cheapest place i have found anywhere for NEW wheels, however the best deals are on ebay and craigslist. A lot of times I see great looking used wheels that come with mounted tires and good amount of tread for 2-400.

the cheapest new wheels that dont look tacky to me are MB Seven-x or MB five-x. they are about 300 including stems with free shipping. Although some people have told me they are painted, this is not true, they are powder coated alloy. Ive heard 2 good reviews of them, and they have a lifetime warranty for workmanship and structure or something. the only drawback is that they are pretty heavy for aftermarket wheels.

Look at the rota selection on jlbmotorsports.com. 1k is easily enough.

15" Drag wheels from discounttiredirect.com will end up costing only ~$600 total, with tires, mounting, balancing, and shipping

Rotas are also inexpensive. Might cost you $650 total for 15" Rotas with all the stuff.
