I'm posting this in engine as well... just want an answer so I can start this right now...
So yes or no? If Yes, how do I take it off? It is just plastic I think... Any kinds of paint are good?

 

Also what about a chrome strut bar... how would you paint something like that and not have it be crappy looking?

 

You can paint it, just use high temp. paint. As for the chrome I have never done it but you could probably just sand it down then paint it.

 

Thanks... does the thing just pop off or do I have to unhook it from anything important? I dont want to start pulling unless I know it is safe...

 

I don't have one on my car so I'm not sure, from what I can see there is a hose on the bottom right of it that needs to come off first, just look around on it and take everything off of it that seems to be holding it on.
