Yeah just a glossier (is that a word?) black... I dont really want bright colors and I am not sure about red on a dark blue car.

blue or black, a dark blue would match the car nicely

You shouldn't need high temp paint. I've painted race motors in regular DupliColor Truck, Van and SUV paint and it holds up fine. (sorry, pictures are big)

The biggest thing to be concerned with it prep. Make sure you get the pieces you want to paint VERY clean. You can even rough it up with some sand paper, but be sure to clean it after you use sand paper. Many coats and lots of sanding in between will get you a very smooth finish. In the end you can polish the paint with a mild boat polish or equivilant and it should shine. You'll want to be sure you don't bend the plastic too much after it is painted.
