i personaly would ditch the fiberglass and go with a urethane one just for that reason, but just go to menards and get a package of fiberglass cloth. and some resin. you will also need a paint brush too. clean the area that needs repair and apply resin then put a a few strips of fiberglass cloth over the crack, if is just the chip then you just have to bondo it. its unclear in ur post if its cracked too or just chipped.

At walmart you can just buy a fiberglass repair kit that I believe comes with everything you need.

very hard to do if there is a chunk missing all depends if it has curves on the chunk or if its just straight. it will take along time to fix and good skills to make perfect.

Its more expensive then fiberglass, but worth it in the long run if your going to have the kit for a long time. Just check out some prices for a front bumper.

if you decide to repair the fiberglass bumper, here's a hint:get a few cans of expanding foam insulation (it's made for going around doorways and windows in houses... you can pick it up at wal-mart in the home improvement section). Spray the insulation on the inside of the body kit (don't use too much at once or else it'll expand too muchand crack your kit) to stiffen it up. When I did mine, I took a saw to the insulationthat was sticking out (you'll know what I'm talking about if you do this)and then sanded it all smooth. It makes the kit a little more rigid (which is really nice forsideskirts... my ex always managed to kick my sideskirts when she got into my car lol). Personally, when I get around to repairing my kit (cracked the front bumper in 3 places last winter... don't ask how lol), I'm going to be fiberglassing over (and painting) the insulation just to make it look a little better.
