no i orderd mine through ebay which was a big mistake it took three months to get mine after i filed a complaint with paypal and 50 dollars in phone bills calling the seller in california then when i finally got it the fitment was not that great. when you get yours i highly recommend hood pins if the latch ever breaks say goodbye tou your roof and windshield. regular pins are ugly so i got these. AeroCatch 120-2000 black top-mount non-locking | eBay
but like i said before just call vis or seibon and ask them if the ebay seller is certified.

yeah the extreme temperature changes in the winter constantly going from freezing to hot as the engine bay heats can over tome cause the hood to get brittle.

Bought my seibon oem style hood off eBay, along with nearly every other single car part in my civic and have had no problems. A lot of them are top rated sellers and specifically mention to inspect the product for any visible damage BEFORE the delivery guy leaves since they insure the product. Fitment will never be 100%, but it's usually very close to oem.

I got the hood in less than a week from CA to NC and I'm running the stock hood latch. You don't need hood pins, unless you want them for looks.

tell that to my buddy's CRX who's roof was caved-in from his hood coming up on him. It was a seibon hood, and YES it was latched perfectly fine. I hear this same story all the time on the internet too... I'd just lean on the side of caution and buy some damn hood pins, but thats just me.

Theoretically, is it cheaper to manufacture my own carbon part from carbon fabric or is it cheaper to buy it.
