Hey guys i have a 93 civic ex 2dr with a horrible hood im talkin dents and all that. So i was thinking I am getting new black paint sometime in the near future but one of the first things i would like to fix is the hood. I figure well if im getting a new hood why not go all out and get carbon fiber.. on a black car. My question is would it really be worth it to do that or would i just be wasting money because of the color similarity or would it stand out a lot more then im thinking?

 

I think it would look good. And if you buy it and end up thinking it stands out too much you can always get it painted. I think if you're replacing the hood anyway you might as well get CF.

 

yea thats what i was thinking but i dont wanna go with a knockoff either uh.. i was looking at this but the price seems a little too good to be true

the only hood scoops i like are the evo's, but i only like them on the evo. lol

 

price seems right, can't go wrong with vis or seibons.

yea, Ive thought about doin that too. ( i have a black car as well. I've always been a little conflicted tho cuz I dont think id want to paint it. It looks great but I think i'll wait till i need to replace the hood before I drop the cash. Clean lookin ride man!
