hey guys i have an 07 honda civic si and im thinking about putting a carbon fiber hood on but one of my friends told me that the lines don't always match up and it doesn't look right because of it and i don't want my new car not looking good...so i was just wandering if any of you have done this or seen one that has a CF hood on it and if you have just let me know it turned out... thanx!!

Check this thread out...there's a small pic of a carbon fiber hood on one. By the way I'm sure if you get a quality hood, it will most likely fit right and will look just fine.

 

if you get a quality and spend the money the first time around, you will not be uhappy. do it right the first time and you will be good to go.

 

yea they line up right. just get a good name brand one. vis, seibon, or carbon creations.

 

Tell the friend they are retarded... why would a car-specific hood not fit correctly... common sense fact: businesses want to make money. It will fit, just spend alot of money and get a higher grade one right off and then you will have no worries.

 

does vis make one or seibon?

 

vis makes one for the 06 models...im assuming that fits the 07's too. and im sure seibon makes one as well.
