i got this front lip that doesnt fit on my car, but with some mods i think i might be able to.

i have pictures to show that the lip is made for 96-98 but i want to put it on my 99-00. what should i do? shave the top part off?

 

yes looks like you need to use a dremel or a saw to cut off that top flap.

 

it won't fit or looks great at all. they are slightly different in dimension and underside bolt patterns, as well as the contour of the bottom. I suggest selling it and just buying a real one.

 

i think it will fit but for sure it won't look good at all. i have to agree with ej6 sell it and get one that fits
