Default climate control swap?

Anyone know how hard a climate control swap is for a 98, to a 99-00 climate control?

well if i remmeber correctly the 96-98s use a cable as well as electrical....
best thing ive seen was just relocate them down next to the cupholders, and just modify the 99 cluster to work with your setup. or just modify your 96-98controls to your needs.

o ya also your air vents are in different locations.... alittle more work involved...

last i heard you need to replace your whole dash, as well as your wiring harness. I recall either Tony or Marnie were going to attempt this, but then found what a headache it was and abandoned it

Neither of us would have done that, we don't have 96-98s
I have found the writeup before, though. It's a lot of work but you don't have to actually replace the dashboard.... you DO have to take it out, though.
