Default Cloudy Day Mini Photoshoot

I washed the car and changed locations to get a better look at the new paint. What do you guys think?

I know, I know... hubcaps. They suck. They're the very last remnants of my ricer days. I actually bought those for my old 92 Civic back in 2003. They have moved from Civic to Civic to Civic. They'll be retired once the rear disc brake swap gets here and gets installed.

looks good but try either raising the driver side hood rest thingy or lowering the passengers side one it seems to be uneven

Totalled from the front + slightly tweaked frame + imperfectly welded core support = that

well sheet metal can always be tweaked just one of those things you try one thing and then try another..... when i got my new radiator support it was bent on one side from shipping. but i got it pretty close. i just need to tweak the fender a bit before i paint my civic in about a month or so.

i think your car needs some painted headlight eye lids

Another thing is the hood dampers, they apply constant pressure to the outer ends of the hood pulling the sides of the hood inward due to the front latch. as well as possible previous front end damage.

I may have enough paint left in the rattle can to actually paint eyelids on the headlights... but, I dunno about that. I wish I had a set of headlights to experiment on.

And I wish I had a real fender on the passenger side. Half the problem is that its mostly made of bondo.

o ya that could be a problem... but hell a new fender isnt that much im suprised they didnt replace it instead of wasting time with the bondo and sanding!

you can buy some plastic eye lids and just paint them and stick em on. i had some CF eye lids on my black civic. but i didnt like how thick the CF sit up so i figure next set i do ill just paint them on the actual headlights or simply use some vinyl.
it seems easy enough.... just tape off the area you dont want to scuff with some 2K grit sandpaper, clean and paint then remove the tape or what not.

^lol, not to be mean or anything, but those pictures are nowhere near professional photographer level. He's just using a point and shoot anyway, probably without a tripod.
