i have a 1990 civic hatchback dx with no tachometer. i got a dashboard, gauge cluster with the tachometer, and the dashboard wiring from a 90-91 crx si. i left the harness from the si on the back of the dashboard,and i started to plug everything in, but one of the big plugs on the bottom near the fuse panel does not plug in. its shorter. would i have to use the rest of the harness from the crx, or can i change some of the plugs around? thanks

 

it should be a plug in swap. are you sure its not from and 88-89? anywho you can match up most the wires i belive anduse the old plug.

 

ill have to recheck the year with one of my friends. thanks for the info.
