is it worth goin through all the trouble to customize a front bumper or should i just buy a body kit?

 

depends... exactly what do you mean by customizing? How custom are we talking?

 

Are you talking about doing your own fiberglass work?
If so have you ever done work with fiberglass?
Are you just going to 'cut and glue' pieces of different body kits together to make a custom one?
Or what?

 

im taking a stock front bumper cutting it and lowering it 3-4 inches and fiberglassing it back together with other details in it

 

I wouldn't do it unless you're really good with fiberglass. But it could be a low budget way to get a decent look.

 

yeah, unless you're pretty good with fiberglass (or have a ton of time to experiment with it), it's going to be quite a hassle. I modified a body kit I used to have... took me almost two weeks of working on it every night for a few hours just to finish the front and rear bumpers.

But that does give me a good idea for making a custom BackYard style front bumper with my spare bumper

 

it's not worth doing either.... lip kit FTW!

 

I would just buy a bumper

 

+1 for the Lip kit. Just a little style or "flare" w/o attrating the wrong type of attention.
