ya i would just ditch the interfooler intake and go with a simple SRI or CAI just get a ebay intake system and buy a good AEM dryflow filter after your sure what size the tube is before ya buy the filter.

that filter doesnt look to good so it might be the reason why your milage sucks.... its just clogged up from sucken in all that dirt!

also i must say... you need to do something with them headlights.... im sure the light output look good with the projectors but the rest of it looks bad IMO...

lol ohh no the headlights im doing my little own custom job on it, im painting the housings back and blue to match the car lol, i know they hurt to look at,just awful lol but i just need to let the light covers cure for another day or two but will post pics n i hope u guys will be like WOW because i sayd WOW when i saw what i did lol

but these intake:
SRI or CAI ,AEM dryflow these are just the filters right,

and as for the pipe i should just get rid of it and remove all the piping or i can still keep the cold air intake if i just cut the pipe up a little and replace the filter with a cone type filter, up towards the bumpers, where the pipe starts to bend upwards.

you might be able to chop the piping but im not sure.... if ya chop the piping then the intake will be junk... but if you just remove it and paint it silver again you can still sell it.

and ya the dryflow filter is just the filter. i dont think the aem cai is worth it IMO at least.... it might have a bit better performance but IMO not enough to warant the cost.

i think you should cut the pipe (to save money) and buy either a cone filter or a sponge/foam filter.

my only concern is that tubing doesnt have the right curves to clear the filter and frame rail...

i modified mine a bit to make it into a SRI and i also painted it black.
i had a spare since i bitched to the ebay seller about its chrome turning all clouded after i cleaned the engine bay and he sent me another.

i dont think that cutting it there would fit the filter right.... looks to me like it would make the filter cram into the radiator support and crush the filter on that side...

at least to me it just looks like it will be to close!
