yeah on the back of the cluster, its a few silver screws, then grab the outside of the section, like around the outside of the numbers and pull it off. You can do it for each of the three sections (EG Temp, Speedo, and Gas), but you'll only need the speedo/odometer

wow.....i never ever thought about switching the odometers! i have been thinking about soldering some leds into the back of my cluster so the lights will be blue. but i havent because i didnt want to mess up and end up having to buy a used clusterwith the wrong miles!

^ wehn you do that you have to take all three of the sections out anyway to dremmel back in there and get the strips in there

Well while we're talking about clusters - I want a red theme in the inside of my car. I was thinking about changing all of the interior dash lights to red (stuff for the heat/ac, vents, gauge cluster) is it just a bunch of little LEDs in there? Does anyone know any good walk throughs or sites describing how to change the lights? I'd really like to keep my stock cluster in there (I mean not getting a carbon fiber one or whatever, I still want to switch it to an Si cluster) but I guess if I can't just switch out the colour of the lights I'll have to buy a new one.
