Default Debadged + Custom logo

Alright, so I got bored today and decided to take em off. I had seen someone on civic forums that made a VII (7th Gen) out of the Civic logo, so I decided to go for it and put it where the EX was before. I'm really happy with how it turned out, it looks much cleaner now.

All it took was some dental floss, goof off, and some patience! I also opted to polish the two spots to make it a little more even, but all in all in turned out very well for a 6 year old car. To make the new one, I used an exacto to slice the letters apart, then I filed down the burrs where the connecting pieces were. I got some 3M mounting tape, and stuck the letters to one side, cut out the tape to match the shape, and then trimmed away the edges so it wouldn't be seen when its on the car.

Picture (Cell phone, but you can get the idea pretty well):

For some reason they really don't look straight in the picture, but in real life they look really nice...hah.

What do you guys think?

I like it. You took those off very nicely. Usually there's gunk and scratches everywhere.

The VII is pretty sweet too. People are gonna be like "What the hell is a Civic VII?"

Haha...

Yeah the floss really took if off cleanly. It broke a lot, but I think it went well.

And like you said whiterabbitt, the best part is that no one will know what it means unless they kow civics!

yeah good, floss or fishing line (floss tends to break alot easier) and then just use your finger nail to get the rest off, and if you got any scratches, you can get Scratch X from WalMart for like $6 a tube.
