Default Decisions decisions decisions

Wdup ppl i got some questions for u......I have a silver 1997 civic dx sedan and these stock 14's r killin the look of the car. Im gonna get some new shoes for it but i need some input from some of u who r experienced in these sorts of things (ima fu**in newb lol) I have a set of 17's and 15's picked out thatd end up bein the same price which is very budget consuming so this choice really matters. I love the look of the 17's but we all know they mess up the gauges slightly, which isnt a big deal but i dont like the idea that they dont work to their fullest potential. but with the 15's id have to get a lowerin kit so that wheel well is full so itd b more money, but itd also enhance the performance so itd b well spent. Im not lookin for my car to look like a ricer or a wigger mobile, which i think the lowerin will imply bcause of its lack of other mods which will happen over time. I want it to look clean nd aggressive and i kno the 17's will do that but also keep this in mind...i cant use low pros bcause of the ****ty weather in MA for personal safety reasons. So u guys take all that into consideration and plz help me out id appreciate ur input lol and i apologize for this lengthy book i wrote

well 17's will make ur car look like a freakin monster truck if u arnt lowered. u can pull of 15's without lowering the car, but it'll still look a lil high. 15's will give u a smoother ride and IMO will look best. large wheels on small cars=ugly IMO.

If you do decide to go with 17's I would just swap back to the stockers for the winter, that is what I did with my 17's on my truck when I was stationed up in Maine.

DOOO the 17" and get some lowering springs, you can pull off the 15" without springs, but 17s you will need to drop it..i have them on my car and it fills perfectly with a small drop, dosent look to big i dont think..and search the wheel part of this forum for more info, this question is asked a bit

I'd say go for the 15's. I had 17's and thought they looked too big and my car sat to high. Traded for some 15's and now I love it. Doesn't look ricey anymore and they are light in weight compaired to the 17's I had.
