Default diamond plate cupholder cover

I've seen this a couple of times in civics. Its a diamond plate insert that goes where the cupholder is. I made something similar that only covered part of it but doesn't look really good (https://www.hondacivicforum.com/upfi...36E5799F20.jpg)

but here's a pic of the thing I'm talking about http://i3.ebayimg.com/04/i/000/a5/9f/89a9_1.JPG

Is it custom made or have you seen these things for sale before.

I don't understand why you'd want to cover up cupholders

the same reason people put gauges where their head unit used to be

Cause I never use it anymore, its just like a junk gathering place, lol. I want to use it for switches, and I think the diamond plate looks better then what I have setup there now with that metal piece.

if you want a very nice piece to cover it up, then take the drivers side door jam panel on the dash (the section that is flat), and cut it out of one in the junk yard, then use that piece to make a cover or your cd holder or cup holders, it looks 100000x times better when the piece has the factory plastic finish on it, rather than some ghey looking metal or diamond plate, lol. don't take me the wrong way, it's just not my taste at all, but if you like it, then go for it.
