i have a 98 honda civic and my passenger door has alot of little tiny dings and its REALLY annoying and i just want to get a new door over all....do i have to acutally have to buy a new whole door? ive heard of door skins? could i just buy that and how does that acutally work? i dont know what a door skin is

 

door skins go on the inside where the fabric is. get a new door. hit up a junker.

I don't know if you want to go that route. There's a chance that the paint will be nowhere near matching and it may end up looking worse.

 

Yup! That is a really good point. See the paint on a car changes color over time due to environmental factors. So I doubt that you will find one that matches well enough. Just a thought.

 

i had the same thing going on with one of my doors, i went to the junk yard and found a door that was the same color as my car, i paid $45 for it and it looks fine, so try a junk yard you might get lucky
