Default Door panel question

Ok I am getting super sick of my door panel inserts being all ****ty and ripped up and whenever I try to make new ones they seem to have a small wrinkle in them or something and it drives me nuts. wrinkle is caused from how they are shaped.... 00 DX hatch. The corners are just to tight for normal material. Anyone know where I can get some pre-molded fabric or even completely new inserts? New inserts are actually what I would prefer if I could get them in black or something. Only thing I ever see online is grey ones.

Ya see how his insert is the big one that takes up like half the door. It has much smoother curves then mine.....mine is the smaller one that has the sharp turns on it. That is actually the thread I used when I was doing it last time I tried though. I might just be incompetent though or maybe I bought the wrong fabric I guess. Thanks though!

Take it to a upholstery shop and see what they can whip up. It is really difficult to wrap things with alot of edges like the door panels. You will get the krinkles. Even on that thread that fiirkan posted, its wrinkled at the edge which looks like crap.

Hmmm lol the upholstery shop thing might actually work and I might be able to match it to my seats now that I think about it. I actually have a friend who's mother does upholstery and I did some computer work for her so now she does any upholsery stuff I need if I buy the fabric for free.

Thinking about it now this would actually be perfect. I could have her cut 2 seperate pieces 1 top and 1 for the side. Since there really is hardly a bottom at all on it. Then sew it together with red stitching like she did on my seats and it would all match. And with multiple pieces it would be much easier to not have it wrinkle..........mmmm excellent.....
