Default Door swaps

My doors are creaky, have dents, and are manual (DX), what are everyone's thoughts on going to a junk yard, finding a civic of my gen and colour (but EX) and swapping the doors. Should it be a straight trade... does anyone have experience with this?

Door swap would be a dirrect trade, the wiring is where you get in trouble... if you end up getting the doors make sure you get the entire floor harness or as much of the wiring inside the car that connects to the doors...

why don't you just lube up your doors. pop out the dents. You mine as well just buy the power windows and locks and new door panels??

if the door panels are that bad, you can get new skins and get them paint matched. I've got a buddy going through autobody school and that seems to be the best way to go!

Eh, they're not terrible at all. It's just two things, I've always wanted to put electrics in to this car and (the thing that worried me the most) the dent on the driver's side has rust started that's a little bigger than a quarter.

i would find an ex, and switch to power mirrors and locks, make you look less white trash and prolly increase your re sell value. but thats just me, but i agree, you are going to want to get as much of the harness as possible.

Ya I read through it, it was a pain. Why do you suggest getting the ex doors and THEN doing the switch?
