ek civic lowering advice

Hmmm, sounds like someone has the exact same problem as I do! I've just ordered some 17" Konig Theory wheels, and am a little worried that the ride height will be way too high, but wasnt sure if 40mm lowering springs would cause them to rub the arches. I dont really fancy taking chunks out of my brand new tyres either!

I wouldn't go for Spax shockers personally. My dad has a set on his kitcar, and although it has only really seen warm weather, the rust has set in and has made them look really shabby in just over 2 years use. What are the better brands to go for, preferably which won't hurt my wallet too much?
