Default EK front grill

Alright i want to get a new front grill from my car. OEM badge with vanes is just so...boring. However I am in a predicament.

I woudl like a mesh style, it looks alot nice and etc etc. But I feel an all balck mesh style would look very bland. I relaize a clena look is nice but you need to have some contrast.

This is why, I believe, Honda has the chrome trim around the stock grill. Ideally if I could switch to mesh and keep the chrome it would be great but I am unsure if this will indeed look good or how ot go about it. I have 3 options.

1. Mesh style, all black

2. Mesh style, paint mesh black and then paint on my own chrome and hope it stays shiny.

3. Mesh grill with Chrome already installed I do not know if this is just paint or liek plasticy chrome and i owudl still have teh paint teh white parts black.

Now before this gets heated up I know chrome can be tacky but that is only if you chrome everything out, I just want enough to provide contrast.

As always please comment, criticize, etc etc.

I agree with sfazngiants. Color match the trim, leave the mesh black.

Never heard of an SS Honda, but I've got a Civic logo to the right of mine. I STRONGLY urge against using the chrome looking grille. You want color matched. I wanted to stay with the stock looking chrome outside and a black mesh. It just didn't look good.
