Help me decide which color to paint my engine bay! My coupe is forest green, can't decide what color to go with.

The car for those of you who don't know what it looks like.


My bay (getting tucked and shaved, brake lines will go bye bye)


Thinking of a silver like this I did on a valve cover for someone, it is sparkly.


Purple, this pictures like a year old haha.


Gold, this is my original choice and the gold I'd use is on the upper rad support.


Lime green, no pic of it sprayed out on the green, but it is pretty obvious of the color.

Anodized blue color.





Which do you think will look the best with the dark green? If it isn't obvious I want it to stand out and be a nice attention grabber, just unsure of what color I want to go with. It is one thing to have an obnoxiously bright color, but it needs to blend in as well. I'd probably paint rims to match the same color also, which would be in spring.

It is such a toss up, I'm really torn between all of them, I've been really feeling the idea of purple lately.

 

I voted gold, I think its the best color choice you have listed. i've been considering it for my bay, actually. so if you do pick it, I'm sorry if it seems like I'm copying you in a few months. =/

 

Gold or purple, but if I had to choose, I'd say gold. Now if your car was black I'd say purple all the way

 

Anodized blue gets my vote.
I never seen that on a bay lol.

I'm gonna have to go with gold. Its enough of a contrast to catch your eye and stand out, but not too much to make you say eww.

Well I do like gold but I am really feeling the purple, going to buy some tomorrow and test out the purple on an area in the bay to get a feel for it. Check my project thread for the outcome!
