Exaust Tip?
what is the point? i mean yeah they look better than what i already have... and it makes your car sound like a race car right? whats the point if it dosnt enhance the performance.. btw if i was to get one is it hard to put one on? or should i go to a ma and pop shop and have them do it? they are less than 100 bucks. What do you think
well..there usually weld on, so if you can weld put it on...it you just get a exhust tip, like a crome one or somthing like that, thos just bolt on at the end of your exhust pipe and it dosent do anything for sound, just looks
Yeah man if you get a tip that just bolts on it just looks good, but if you get the muffler itself (i think thats what your talking about if youre talking about welding), it will sound good and you might feel a little bit of performance difference. I might be bull****tin ya, but when i got mine put on i felt a difference in my high end (but maybe it was all in my head because of the sound
)
)
ya i tip wont help anything.... ive never had any change the sound much if any at all!
tho do it right.... chop back the old pipe and PAINT the old pipes with a heat black engine paint....
i cannt stand it when stupid people put a tip over a old rusty pipe still sticken out or even if you can still see the old pipe inside...
and personaly dont go to small but DEFINATLY DONT GO TO BIG! i like mine. its preaty minor and hidden preaty nice.

tho i realy like a custom pipe ..... tho never want to pay that price.LOL
if you can see your exaust pipes id say ditch the tip idea.... i see ALOT of trucks that do.... you see a good 3ft of rusty pipe and then you see a 6inch chrome tip.... looks preaty bad!

Do you just want something for looks or both? and addiction, I have a custom pipe on mine that is supposed to be a knockoff of the HKS hi power exhaust sysytem. and I def felt a difference. It was only 200 for all new hi power piping and exhaust. From a local place called Ryans muffler service. You can find them cheap if you really look.
JessicaRT, are you talking about an exhaust tip like this or this, or you talking about the whole muffler itself?
the first two are preaty much the same
mines just double walled and rolled. the are the same just look beter!
then thiers these crapy tips that have like resonators or glass packs in them..
