dito just hardwire them... i hardwire everything that i plan on keeping in the car.....

tho for the interior lighting.... id prefer to stick with one color.....

I tapped power from the fuse box accessory plugs above the fuses:
Key: RED CONSTANT 12V, PURPLE ACCESSORY 12V, WHITE PARKING LIGHTS (+)

I tend to be in different moods alot and when it comes to led's and color I like the idea of options (I did my blue gauges probably two years ago, and I got sick of the blue damned quick), I'm actually going to mod my hvac and gauge cluster to have full color spectrum as well (not sure how to do the pod gauges tho)...

The other reason is I liked the patterns, one of the ones my buddies like is the red base color with blue moving color and there is a mod that is basicly switching from base to moving color and at speed it looks like police light bar strobes and they've said (but I'm not doing it) to stick one in my visor... But things like the music feature and the color fade is fun to have... All n all I'm happy with it over just one color, makes it that much more unique...
